Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Honest Verdicts ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit honestverdicts.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell products directly and we never ask you for payment information on this Site.

1. Who we are

Honest Verdicts is an independent website that publishes reviews, buyer's guides and information about consumer products, including dietary supplements and wellness products. We are not the manufacturer or seller of the products we review. When you choose to buy a product, you complete your purchase on the seller's own website, under the seller's own privacy policy and terms.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

We only receive personal information you choose to send us, for example when you email us. This may include your name, email address and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:

  • IP address and approximate location (city, region or country);
  • browser type, device type, operating system and screen size;
  • pages you view, links and buttons you click, time spent on pages and the website or ad that referred you;
  • date and time of your visit;
  • cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details, and we do not ask for sensitive information such as health records, government ID numbers or financial account information. Please do not send us this kind of information.

3. How we use information

  • to operate, maintain and improve the Site and its content;
  • to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are most helpful;
  • to measure the performance of our advertising, including whether a visit came from an ad and whether visitors click through to a seller's website;
  • to show relevant advertising, as described in the "Advertising and Google" section;
  • to respond to your messages and requests;
  • to detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security and technical issues;
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies to:

  • Make the Site work (essential cookies);
  • Measure and analyze how the Site is used (analytics cookies);
  • Measure and personalize advertising (advertising cookies);
  • Track affiliate referrals, so that the seller knows a purchase came from our Site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the Site may not work as intended. Learn more at allaboutcookies.org.

5. Advertising and Google

We promote the Site using online advertising, including Google Ads. In connection with this:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • We may use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing to measure the results of our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices and networkadvertising.org. To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

6. Analytics

We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use the Site. These services may collect the automatically collected information described above and use cookies to do so. Google Analytics data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Affiliate links and third-party sites

The Site contains affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our Site and go to a third-party website, such as the product seller or an affiliate network. That website may set its own cookies and collect information about you, including your order details, under its own privacy policy. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

We may receive non-personal information from affiliate networks, such as the number of clicks and sales generated through our links, so that we can be paid a commission. We do not receive your payment details from sellers.

8. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information:

  • with service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, analytics and email providers, who may only use it to provide services to us;
  • with advertising partners such as Google, as described above;
  • with affiliate networks and sellers, when you click an affiliate link;
  • if required by law, court order or government request, or to protect our rights, users or the public;
  • in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of the Site or its assets.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to respond and for our records. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to the retention settings of the providers we use.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including secure (HTTPS) connections. However, no website or online transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your privacy choices and rights

  • Cookies: block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Personalized ads: use the opt-out links in section 5.
  • Email: you can ask us at any time to delete messages you have sent us.
  • Access, correction and deletion: you can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@honestverdicts.com.

We will respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

12. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and others, may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or of targeted advertising. Some uses of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under these laws. To exercise your rights, email contact@honestverdicts.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." You may also use the opt-out tools in section 5 and the Global Privacy Control described below.

13. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. Where required by law, we will treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.

14. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. International visitors

The Site is operated for visitors in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please review this page periodically.
